Worktrees share one object store, so a second checkout costs almost nothing on disk. About 50MB of working files versus the 2GB the full clone would have duplicated. The branch is the only thing that's truly separate — which is exactly the isolation an agent needs. Strictly, the index and HEAD are also per-worktree. That's the whole trick.
